Our goal is clear: to make it easier for Medi-Cal members to get
the housing they need. To do this, we thought it would be helpful to bring
together decision-makers and housing providers to talk about the challenges
Medi-Cal members face in accessing assisted living waiver housing services
while maintaining Medi-Cal eligibility.

Navigating the rules can be tricky, so we're creating a
space for everyone involved to share ideas and find solutions. This means
better coordination among those who make the rules, those who provide services,
and those who support the community. 

This effort goes beyond just talking – at our first annual
forum in the Inland Empire, we're taking action to address the hurdles in
finding housing for Medi-Cal members. The housing forum isn't just a meeting;
it's a crucial place for community helpers and advocates to work together on
overcoming challenges in the rules. By sharing experiences and knowledge, we
empower advocates to guide people through the system more effectively.
